Voice Dialogue
Voice Dialogue is a psycho-spiritual method whereby clients learn what sub-personalities are running their lives, and how to use these selves or strategies toward greater functionality by increasing their experience of these selves, becoming more aware of themselves as a whole, and developing the aware ego process. This process is vital in becoming empowered in one’s life. Through exercises, experience, dream clarity, and pure awareness states, clients become their own teacher and ultimately have more consciousness and choice.
EMDR
EMDR is a therapeutic modality that treats PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and other stress related issues, such as anxiety, reactivity, and central nervous system disturbance. Whenever we are triggered by events or relationships that seem too extreme for what the event calls for, we may be reacting from something in our past. EMDR can calm the overactive circuits in our brain, and create new and healthier pathways in the brain. Clients report improvement in stress, anxiety, depression and improved coping strategies.
EFT
EFT or emotional freedom technique is another modality that uses tapping to calm down and redirect an overactive amygdala (the emotional center of the brain) freeing clients to lead healthier and more joyful lives.
Couples Work
Couples Work includes Voice Dialogue and the psychology of the aware ego by exploring the bonding patterns that naturally come up in any close relationship. We look at relationships as teacher, and value diversity and the growth that comes through our differences, the goal being increased connection also known as linkage, whereby couples learn skills of being with both power and vulnerability and thus true intimacy. Couples work can also include the well researched work from the Gottman Institute, using skills in repairing conflict and learning to dream together again in their lives. Both Voice Dialogue and Gottman work create more passion and aliveness in relationship
Group Process
Group Process enhances awareness and consciousness through group sharing, dream analysis, and exercises that enhance one’s energetic sensitivity and therefore their ability to become facilitators and work with each other. Susan has developed her own Voice Dialogue Drama, that includes Family Constellation therapy and Psychodrama to increase client awareness and further the aware ego process.
Susan treats issues of life transition and change, anxiety and depression, chronic medical issues, emotional disturbances such as agitation, anger, hopelessness, social withdrawal, relationship and workplace conflict, family system issues.
